Experience KW’s #1 Indie Cinema at the Kitchener Waterloo Film Festival! The Kitchener Waterloo Film Festival (KWFF) is back, and it’s set to be an unforgettable experience for cinema lovers! Held at the Princess Original, KW’s beloved indie cinema, this festival spans three themed days, each dedicated to showcasing incredible talent from behind the camera. 100% of the profits go directly to support these fantastic artists, making it a must-attend event for anyone passionate about the arts.

Festival Schedule:

KWFF - Midnight MadnessWhen: Friday, May 31st, 9 pm - Midnight What: Premiere of Feature Film “Demento” + 8 wild short films Why Attend: This thrilling kickoff event promises to be a night of excitement and surprises. “Demento” is set to be an intriguing feature, accompanied by a selection of wild short films that will keep you on the edge of your seat.

KWFF - The ShortsWhen: Saturday, June 1st, 7 pm - 10 pm What: 18 short films featuring local, national, and international talent of all genres Why Attend: A diverse array of short films will be showcased, giving you a taste of the immense creativity and storytelling prowess from filmmakers around the world. This is your chance to see the best of short-form cinema in one evening.

KWFF - The Other SideWhen: Sunday, June 2nd, 6 pm - 9 pm What: KW’s Premiere of “The Martini Shot,” starring Matthew Modine, + 6 short films Why Attend: Cap off the festival with the premiere of “The Martini Shot,” a highly anticipated film starring the renowned Matthew Modine. Followed by six exceptional short films, this evening promises to be a cinematic treat.
