This isn’t just any 5K—this is a race with heart. Named after Bob Kierlin, the founder of Fastenal and lifelong supporter of youth initiatives, the BK5K is more than a race. All proceeds from the event will go directly toward youth organizations in financial need. Every step you take is a step toward helping kids in our community thrive.
Plus, if you’re feeling competitive, you’ve got a shot at some sweet prizes. The Top 3 Male & Female finishers will not only receive custom BK5K trophies but also cash prizes. First place gets $200 USD, second place scores $100 USD, and third place takes home $50 USD. And if you’re feeling extra generous, winners can even donate their cash prize back to the community’s youth grants.

Bring the kids along for the Kid’s Fun Run at 10:15 AM—this race is all about energy, excitement, and smiles! With age groups ranging from 1 to 10 years old, it’s a fantastic way for your little ones to experience the thrill of racing.
We’ve seen the Kid’s Race grow from a humble 30 racers to nearly 400 participants last year, and this year is shaping up to be even bigger!

How Much Does It Cost?
Affordable for all ages, the 5K ranges from $17 USD (for adults, if you pre-register) to $25 USD for race-day registration. And kids? They can join the fun for as little as $5 USD on race day!
